No Hands?

Here we look at the concepts of patient active diagnosis and treatment. In osteopathic manual treatment it seems to be automatically assumed that a practitioner will always use their hands and this is not the case. Patient active motion testing for diagnostics are common. Patient active engagement in treatment is common and does not need to be performed against the resistance of the practitioner.
